• Youth SBC Student Ministries
   
  9:45 PM each Sunday. 6:30 PM on Wednesdays. Impacting a Generation. Our students ministry is designed to help students find and experience God ‘s best for their life by providing teaching from God’s Word that deals with their daily lives, exciting events, and an atmosphere that encourages meaningful relationships and hands on participation in a ministry that makes a difference.

• AWANA (Children’ s Ministry)
   
  Meets 6:30 PM on Wednesdays during the school year. Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed (Timothy 2:15) “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed”. Scripture memorization, exciting games, great awards and fun theme nights.
   
• Jail Ministry
   
  This ministry provides Bible study and prayer for those incarcerated in the Madison County Jail on Sunday mornings before church.
   
• Discipleship Program
   
  Generally offered on Sunday Evenings at 6:00 PM.
   
• Mission Trips
   
  Our church is very mission minded and participates in many mission trips during the year.
   
• Senior Adult Ministry
   
  Want fellowship? Want food? Want fun? … during the year they have special outings and dinners

Program Ministries

• Music Ministry
   
  We are presently developing a new music ministry that will incorporate both traditional and contemporary music. A Praise and Worship team is also underway to enhance our worship experience.
   
• Bus Ministry
   
  First Baptist Church has one of the largest children’s ministries in this area. We pick up nearly 150 children each Wednesday evening. We have a fleet of 8 vans.
   
• Women's Night Out
   
  A fun filled event for women of all ages. Generally once a month.
   
• Quilting
   
  This ministry is a missions project of the wonderful ladies of our church. They provide quilts for the needy and for new mothers in our community. This group of ladies meet on Tuesdays from 10:00 Am -12:00 noon.
   
• Wacky Wednesday
   
  (Children’s Ministry) Summer program on Wednesday evening at 6:30.
   
• Terrific Tuesday's
   
  (Mothers Day Out) June - August - Fun in the son and Bible stories and games. A children’s outreach ministry for children in 1st - 6th grades. Activities planned include bowling, skating, hiking, swimming, games, Chuck - E - Cheese, ice skating, Go Carts, Laser Tag, devotions, and much more. Children are well chaperoned as they enjoy the day, fellowship together, and learn the love of Jesus Christ.
   
• Men's Prayer Breakfast
   
  Every Tuesday morning at Granny’s Café here in Huntsville.
   
• Women's Bible Study
   
  During the year several different women’s Bible studies are offered and the schedule varies from Bible study to Bible Study .
   
• Children's Choir
   
  (Fall-Winter)
